David M. Tangredi and Chris Cucci founded Check Plus Productionz in 1999. In 2002, Tangredi and Cucci graduated from the University of Central Florida and established Check Plus Productionz Corp., a registered corporation in the state of Florida.

Tangredi and Cucci, as a commercial production team, have produced radio ads for a variety of local businesses and for Check Plus Productionz-sponsored events in Central Florida. The pair also was awarded the University of Central Florida's Nicholson School of Communication Knights Images Award for three consecutive years (1999-2001) for the Best Produced Radio Ad category.

Check Plus Productionz has held a promoter's license in Orange county and coordinated and supported events at various venues including Tabu, Knight Out Pub, Wing Shack, FBI (RIP), Rumors Louge (RIP), Sapphire Supper Club (aka The Social), Club @ Firestone, AKA Lounge, Monterrey Deli and Pub in Sarasota, FL, and more. Check Plus has also worked with a variety of local and national artists including Jungle Brothers, AK1200, Atomic Tangerine, Tan, Cutloose, Tandem, Come Correct, Geoffrey C, 0FA, dubNbass, DJ Zedatron, DJ X-Sight, Third Society, Damien the Tazmanian, Milka, d'analyst, Icky (destroyah.szm.com), and Aja.
